The position of the state of Delaware is surrounded by three larger states. It is key to the success of Delaware. The Delaware river is the body of water that connects them. That river, once was a lifeline to economic freedom, allowing such a small state to compete globally, has been mistreated. Like most waterways that see so much traffic, the river has pollution, but the Delaware River is more polluted than other rivers. Like the fifth most polluted river in the country. Is bad leadership to blame? Why or who would sell out their state’s lifeline, and for what? In 1956 a survey of the Delaware River was done by the US Army of Engineers. It shows that with the annual flooding of local waterways and maintenance to the basin will keep the river stable. Removing pollution naturally.
There has been pollution since the river was called the Lenape river. In 1609 the water quality of the river went from drinkable to polluted. In the coming decades, the river just got worse. The Clean Water Act in the late ’70s helped save the river, wildlife, and the businesses that need the economic income that it brings. Even during the 2020 election year. The river was the main selling point for Joe Biden and his expertise in Green Technology. The question came up numerous times about Delaware’s commitment to the environment. While facts showed that pollution in Delaware is among the worst in the country. Air quality and life expectancy around the river are damaged too. It should be called the Biden River. Just as he created Forever Inflation in just four years as president. As a senator for 4 decades in Delaware, he has damaged a lot of things, forever.
In 1966 before Biden was ever in political office, Senator Edmund Muskie, a Democrat, and his bi-partisan subcommittee member Senator J. Caleb Boggs, a Republican from Delaware, secured the bill’s votes. Their bi-partisan partnership led to the vast support of the bill that added air quality. Though a small but significant step in Delaware’s future and the states surrounding the river. So, when 1973 rolls around, you think a young Senator would learn a thing or two. Did Biden understand this before becoming Senator of Delaware for decades? You would also think that the heir of DuPont and a College graduate would understand these things. Did Dupont understand this before running for Governor of Delaware for decades?
A boy from Scranton, Pennsylvania, another state that uses the river just as much for its success, would be all for river protection and air quality for the people living near it. The US government spent nine hundred million dollars in 1968 alone just on the Delaware River to restore the quality of life on and around its waterways. The pollution in the Delaware River improved from 1967 to 1973 until the industrial boom of Delaware. In the eighties Delaware could only compete with neighbors who had more to offer by letting things slide when big money came to town. Tax cuts, Tax breaks, Environmental overlooks, and items of that nature.

When DuPont opened its enormous plant in the ’70s, a small New Jersey town over the bridge had 1000’s of homes built up for employees and their families. Carney’s Point New Jersey, once a nice town. Now a rundown used up area, which is now inhabited by illegal immigrants. DuPont is now gone. Still, no one ever blamed Joe Biden. He has had a pass for some reason. It is like being a lifeguard at a pool for 47 years, and there have been numerous drownings, and the water is green. Who is to blame? Biden never admitted to failure or not being up to the task. He was “Sleepy Joe of Delaware” before coming to DC.
We all know the story of DuPont and its Asian partners that put harmful chemical plants in our country and pollute our waterways. No, you never heard of DuPont, look it up. At least ten books can tell you how bad that family was and still is. In Wilmington, Delaware, where DuPont is headquartered, the water has a higher “Forever Chemicals” concentration than any surrounding state. It made the oxygen levels zero in parts of the river around Philadelphia and Delaware. The reason? Chemicals and Poop. Back in the ‘fifties, ‘sixties, and seventies, people were just dumping raw sewage right into the river. That can get a lot of people sick. Sewage breeds bacteria in the water, and that bacterium effectively gobbles up all the oxygen, leaving little to none for the fish and other aquatic life in the river.

What did that do to the water? By 1980, about a million pounds of waste was going into the river every day, and more than 60 percent of that was coming from sewage treatment plants, with cities like Wilmington DE contributing the most. But it was not just sewage. There was also blood from slaughterhouses, oil from refineries like Gulf Oil and Sun Oil, and toxic waste from chemical companies like Dupont. Acidic industrial waste lowered the pH of the river several miles above and below the Pa.-Del. state line. Almost none of the waste entering the river was disinfected, so it contained elevated levels of bacteria, eating up all the oxygen.
What did this do to the people of Delaware? More than 1.3 million Americans in New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Delaware alone have been affected. Over 320,000 residents have been harmed by the Delaware River and its runoff in Delaware.

Last summer, my wife lost her niece to cancer, a 13-year-old girl who never had a chance to live a whole life because of a politician’s greed. She grew up in that area and lived near Dover, DE. Cancer was the cause of 29% of all deaths in Delaware last year. That is one-third of Delaware’s population being impacted by a lack of local and state government agencies failing to act. The problem they face is that it cannot be cleaned. They are called “Forever Chemicals.” They named it, not me. The buck stops with you, Joe!
Still during the election, I laughed as I saw Joe Biden and the New Green Deal. Environmentalists of the progressive left spend trillions to make green energy. He made billions creating Forever Cancer. The manipulation does not end after he has left the office. The Democrats still push for a green economy.

The Delaware River is considered safe only for “secondary contact”, NO SWIMMING in BOLD LETTERS is written on every sign near the river’s entrances. Still to this day, hundreds of thousands of people every year go to the Delaware River and ride a raft down it. Touching, kicking, and swimming in the water.
Then why does a national advocacy group name American Rivers proudly publish the Delaware River as the “River of the Year”. The group E360.Yale.edu did the article and posted the American River society awards findings. The group American Rivers is based out of, you guessed it, Washington DC and has thousands of volunteers who want to tear down over two hundred Americas dams on rivers nationwide. It is Gavin Newsome’s group. Another USAID funded project. Using tax dollars to lie to Americans and push false hope. In this case a clean Delaware River.
So, who is correct, the state of Delaware and scientist or an environmental group from DC? How did the river get so bad that we cannot directly answer the outcome? Is it safe or not? Who is playing cover-up or telling the truth? What politician was on watch as all of this went on! Joe Biden could not protect a River! He was unqualified to run as president and should have retired in the eighties. Before he destroyed the rest of Delaware. Joe Biden created the worse inflation ever for our health. Forever Chemical Cancer. A cost from decades of neglect and greed. This will consume our lives, forever. Just like inflation, this cancer is forever too!
Biden’s New Green deal was never going to work. He had four decades to make Delaware green, and instead he failed again. He was never going to make any improvements to the environment while in the oval office. He proved his gardening skills as a senator in Delaware. He has none. Just like being a good father, husband, and politician, he failed horribly. The New Green Deal was another money hiding scheme that did nothing for the environment. It wasted time and money. Two things that do not last forever. Unlike Forever Chemical Cancer. Thanks again Joe.
