Who is Democrat Josh Weil, and what has he done for Florida?
In 2022 during Josh Weil’s U.S. Senate campaign. Weil claims that “only a socialist can win Florida,” and that “the great thing about socialism is that it will take care of everyone, whether you’re a Socialist, or not.”
In 2021 Josh Weil wanted to end U.S. military aid to Israel and condemned Israel’s state-sanctioned violence against Palestinians. His opponent, Republican Randy Fine is Jewish. Josh Weil is affiliated with the Islamic Center of Orlando. We do not need more gas for this Fiery runoff election.
The News Journal reported in 2015 a case where Weil, then a teacher, was suspended. Josh Weil was suspended for three days for misconduct after a student accused Weil of ‘slamming’ him to the ground. He recalls “grabbing the student by the neck, throwing him to the ground, and leaving a bruise on the student’s head.” Weil admitted his actions caused the student to hit his head on the floor during the incident.
Josh Weil is “tough” on students and his co-workers.
In a separate incident, Weil was accused of creating a hostile work environment for a female colleague at the same school. The colleague reported that Weil “prodded” her with a stick, blocked her doorway to prevent her from leaving, and accessed her computer to set his photo as her screensaver. In a formal complaint, the colleague said, “I am very uncomfortable with him touching me, and I am also very uncomfortable having to put my hands on him to push out of doorways.” Women of Florida, you decide the election next week.
Bernie Sanders supports Josh Weil. Bernie has made many statements about the Democrat candidate. “Josh Weil is a working-class father of two and a middle school teacher who knows what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck. Unlike his opponent, he does not have any billionaire-backed Super PACs supporting him. Josh would be a voice in Congress who understands why we must protect Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid and not give massive tax breaks to billionaires,” Sanders said Friday in a statement.
Weil has out raised his opponent by nine million dollars. What does that tell me?
That a so-called working-class Democrat politician, is not getting contributions from the working-class voter. Weil on February 2nd, 2025, told West Orlando News he has raised over $900,000 dollars to date. Fueled by the grassroots and all without a single dollar from corporate PACs. I guess that changed.
In March of 2025, Weil says, “I have raised enough money, at last check $9.5 million. To run a full-on messaging campaign, with TV, radio, newspaper, social media, and billboard ads, as well as hiring some three hundred canvassers to knock on doors and dial up voters.” He also hired rapper Killer Mike, to host a presidential campaign-style event. To attract voters and drum up interest in the unusual special election.
Killer Mike the rapper is no stranger to progressive politics. He hit the trail on behalf of Bernie Sanders in 2016 and 2020. Has anybody learned from 2024 voting antics? I could care less if Oprah supported Kamala, I was voting on substance. Josh Weil is hoping they hear Killer Mike rap, and not his own message. The Florida voter is not weak minded. They are not going to be swayed by a rapper, and an 80-year-old Socialist with a broken message.
What is Josh Weil running on?
Some say he is running a false campaign. David Hogg, political activist, and vice chair of the Democratic National Committee has accused Weil’s campaign manager Jackson McMillan of Key Lime Strategies of running political ads that mention Hogg without his consent. Hogg says that people in the Weil campaign are “the problem in the Democrat party.” That statement is from the vice chair of the DNC.
Bernie Sanders and AOC just went to Colorado to campaign together. Campaign on their own agenda, socialism. AOC does not support Weil either. Ocasio-Cortez and Hogg have criticized the tactics that Weil’s campaign videos have used to gain attention for the congressional race. It is bad when AOC says you are stooping too low. How low can the Democrats go?
Josh Weil also claims that South Carolina Senator Lindsay Graham sleeps in the arms of a “Grindr date who’s signed an NDA.” That Low!

Weil’s campaign has raised almost $10 million. His opponent Republican Sen. Randy Fine came in at just under $1 million raised. Is spending money going to make you vote Democrat? Kamala was able to raise $1.8 billion, and she still lost. Should DOGE investigate the money raised in Florida?
Definition of government Socialism is an economic and political system where all decisions on production, distribution, and pricing are made by the government. Another definition says, “socialism is when the government regulates the ownership of natural resources and production of goods.” The goal of Socialism is to achieve equality between socio-economic classes and having a welfare state.

Florida is number one in the nation in economic statistics among US states. Putting Socialism into a developed capitalist market economy by adding a liberal democratic policy will collapse the market.

Does Socialism in Florida mean I will be part owner of Disney World in Orlando? Will I be part owner of the basketball team Orlando Magic? What do you think? The Democrats do not believe in Socialism. If they believed in the ideology of Socialism. Like income redistribution. Then Kamala would have divided her campaign contributions among Americans before spending a dime. Did anyone get a penny from Josh Weil’s campaign? They raised $9.5 million; he told us himself.
Socialism in Florida will never work. The rich and wealthy that live here, included Blue Blood Democrats, are not going to share their wealth. Please stop. Socialism is a government ideal, not a citizen ideal. Once in power, a socialist government can control everything. Including elections.
If Socialism comes to Florida. The Sunshine state will never glow again! Floridians will be living like the people of Nazi Germany. They were a socialist society. Nazism was formally named the National Socialism party of Germany. Hitler was not socialist, he just used socialism to take over Germany. He used the socialist voter in Germany. He used their socialist anger to get into power. Then eventually turned it into Nazi Germany.
Socialism’s doctrine calls for public rather than private ownership or control of property and natural resources. According to the socialist view, individuals do not live or work in isolation but live in cooperation with one another. Is Socialism going to end partisan politics in Florida? It will never even succeed at doing that.
Florida is at a crossroads. Byron Donalds is leaving a House seat to run against the current governor’s wife. The Republicans can not appreciate the winning and success of the current governor. Casey DeSantis, who will take the job and run Florida, just like her successful husband did, has the lead in the election. The Democrats are in trouble in Florida. The powerful John Morgan, the lawyer who owns Morgan and Morgan law firm. A global law firm conglomerate. He is running for governor in Florida and will no longer be supporting Democrats. Financially or verbally.
The road to success for Republican’s just got easier. Then Byron Donalds just gave the Democrats a second wind. Byron is damaging the coalition. Trump is gone in three years! We still must make America great after he leaves. This is not helping any cause. Byron and the people supporting his campaign need to do one thing, listen to Trump. Trump told President Zelinsky that he did not have the cards in his hands, and he put Zelinsky in his place and told him to rethink his argument. Byron, read the room, we have Florida on lockdown. Why rock the boat? Byron, please go after Democrat seats, not Republican seats. Better yet go after Socialists.
