Maxwell Frost, Orlando’s own Bernie Sanders Socialist. Maxwell Frost has become a rising star in Florida politics, and he has some choice words for Republicans. His ideas for America include removing the Statue of Liberty! Who would support and endorse a guy that says that. How Blue is the 10th district of Florida? Do the voters of Florida even hear the proposals he produces? Do not worry, everyone in America is about to hear it all!
In Florida, Trump won the state soundly over Harris. Defeating her by 1.4 million votes, or 13% points. Trump won most of the state’s sixty-seven counties, bringing in sixty of them. Orange county Fl, where Orlando sits, went towards Kamala. She took Orlando with almost 60% of the votes. The last six Presidential elections, Orlando has leaned Democrat.
Maxwell Frost is in sunny Florida representing the 10th congressional district. He is a typical candidate that gets elected because he has a D behind his name. Orlando Florida, the home of Mickey Mouse, Universal, SeaWorld and a million other tourist attractions. Orlando collects a lot of tax dollars. Some of which are paid for by tourists, but locals also pay just more to live there.
Orlando has a problem, too much pixie dust from Disney has gotten into the air. The people of Orlando have voted themselves into a Democrat nightmare. They can blame all the Republicans they want, but Orlando has been blue for decades. Orlando has earned a powerful reputation for being quite liberal. It attracts tourists worldwide and young professionals who move to warmer weather.
Most Orlando voters voted Democrat. The city offers an intense sense of community with one of the most diverse populations in the state. The city of Orlando has set up policies and ordinances that are geared specifically towards supporting an equal and diverse community. Including their Non-Discrimination Ordinance and their updated anti-discrimination act.
This is how a politician like Frost can say the outrageous un-American remarks that he does. The population he speaks to are temporary tourists themselves, they quickly cannot afford to live here themselves. He gets away with it because the people are voting with anger, personal gain, and disinformation. The Democrat City Council trend towards liberal leadership and policies. They focus on urban development, inclusivity, and environmental stewardship means high taxes for development funds. Urban development is not happening unless the city gives a major kickback.
The people refuse to see what is really going on. When you listen to people like Maxwell Frost. You must wonder who he is working for? The people of Orlando? The people immigrating to Orlando? Or is anybody listening at all?
Maxwell Frost floated a bill that would remove the Statue of Liberty. All because he was mad at the Republican anti- immigration bill. Democrats want to take down another statue. A statue that was here decades before Frost was even born. His answer to a disagreement is to tear down a National Symbol. Frost said immigrants deserve better than what they are being offered. Orlando, is this mic on?
Frost is against building a southern border wall. Frost says, “as our nation witness’s humanitarian and authoritarian crises across Central and South America. Building a border wall is equivalent to sticking our heads in the sand.” Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost (FL-10) released a statement criticizing the Biden Administration’s decision to bypass twenty-six federal laws to build an added stretch of border wall in Rio Grande Valley.
Maxwell Frost is a Democrat. So, he supports all handouts and incentives that make people vote a certain way. Open borders allow fentanyl to come into our country. Fentanyl kills Democrats and Republicans. Both Democrats and Republicans should agree overdoses are not good for Americans! Frost also supports the socialist ideal of single-payer healthcare.
In 2024, Orlando’s crime rate rose by 4%, it is higher than many cities. Frost survived an incident of gun violence at a Halloween event in Downtown Orlando in 2016. You would think he would be tough on crime. Especially with his cities’ negative crime statistics. High crime statistics could hurt a politician’s re-election. Not Maxwell Frost, instead of adding a layer of punishment to the criminal system of Orlando. He pushes a bill to give them a benefit. A bill that aims to grant incarcerated people the right to vote.
The legislation would grant citizens with criminal convictions the right to vote in federal elections. It would also make it a requirement for state and federal entities to inform people who are convicted, incarcerated, on probation, or on parole that they have a right to vote in said elections. The bill would create a process for incarcerated citizens to register to vote by mail.
Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., and Senator Peter Welch of Vermont unveiled a first-of-its-kind bill that aims to grant incarcerated persons the right to vote. The Inclusive Democracy Act is cosponsored by more than 20 Congressional members, including U.S. Reps. Cori Bush, D-Mo., Troy Carter, D -La., Yvette Clarke, D-N.Y., Maxwell Frost, D-Fla., Summer Lee, D-Pa., and several others.
He did not stop there. He took it one Democrat step further. Frost wants to “build toward a future without prisons”. He also supports the decriminalization of sex work and the decriminalization of cannabis use.
Maxwell Frost is a Democrat, and he votes on party lines. They all do, that is why nothing ever gets done. Frost is a strong advocate for gun control. In January 2023, Frost and Representative Jared Moskowitz sent House speaker Kevin McCarthy a letter asking him to address mass shootings. He then comes back to Florida and takes it one step further. In the 2024 General Election Frost and other Florida Democrats put forth a proposal to Florida voters on the ballot to amend the State Constitution to affirm and protect Floridians’ Right to Fish and Hunt.
Amendment 2 was on the ballot in November of 2024 in Florida. It was backed by Maxwell Frost. It was confusing to understand. The way it was worded could confuse voters to vote wrong. That is voter suppression. It was a sneaky move, and it left a worse taste in the mouths of Florida voters. Slick talking politics selling snake oil down in Florida.
A “yes” vote supported establishing a constitutional right to hunt and fish in Florida.
A “no” vote opposed establishing a constitutional right to hunt and fish in Florida.
Hunting, fishing, and harvesting wildlife remain cherished American traditions. Unfortunately, misguided extremists have been trying for decades to incrementally, or outright, ban hunting, fishing, and harvesting wildlife. This amendment guarantees the sporting traditions that you have enjoyed will still be around for future generations of Americans and that regulations will be based on sound science. Currently, twenty-three other states have similar provisions in their constitutions.
Frost was among a handful of Democrats who received about $1 million in support from former billionaire and felon Sam Bankman-Fried. Bankman-Fried was born on March 5, 1992, in an upper-middle class Jewish family in Stanford, California. He is the son of Barbara Fried and Joseph Bankman, both professors at Stanford Law School. So, he can take money from the Jewish community, he just cannot support their survival.
Maxwell Frost has called himself pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian. Frost had taken part in pro-Palestine activism, signing pledges with the Florida Palestine Network (FPN) and the Palestinian Feminist Pledge, calling for support of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel, ending military aid to Israel, and rejecting the conflation of anti-Zionism with antisemitism.
April 2024, he has voted against providing Israel with further aid, has accused Israel of violating international law during the war, and has said that “the bombing campaign in Gaza must stop”. In March 2025, Frost was defending the protestors again at Columbia University.
Frost also backs an assault weapons ban and background checks for all firearm sales. Plus, a fully funded community-led violence intervention program. A demilitarized police force, and a Green New Deal and Civilian Climate Corps to expand renewable energy infrastructure and draw down fossil fuel emissions.
He has been endorsed by progressive lawmakers Sen. Bernie Sanders and Rep. Pramila Jayapal. Also endorsed by the AFL-CIO, the Congressional Progressive Caucus PAC, and Medicare for All PAC, are among his donors. Frost has been trained well!
Frost said, “Donald Trump campaigned on doing stuff for working people yet people in charge are people like Elon Musk. I called that out online and it went viral, and Elon did not like me calling out that,” Frost explains. “So, he’s called me a jackass, he said I’m going to be voted out in 2 years, and he also said he wants to fund a challenger against me.”
Frost is taking Musk’s threats seriously. Frost has been warning his constituents of the possibility of a challenger backed by Musk. Frost said, “If you see someone who is trying to challenge me who is being helped by Elon Musk just know that that is an Elon Musk sycophant who is benefiting from the MAGA extreme right-wing money. This district’s not for sale.”
Maxwell Frost is calling on all challengers. Big talk only works on little minds. MAGA has Frost on the chopping block. The grassroots identity politics game is over. No one cares about their pronouns more than they care about a roof over their heads. The Democrats relied on anger to wrangle up uninformed voters. The Democrats and Frost have the same playbook that lost them the White House in 2016 and 2024.
They have not matured their rhetoric. They have not changed their gameplan of hate talk and disinformation. The Democrats are all in. The way Frost is talking about Trump and Musk makes you realize one thing. Not only did the Democrats not mature or grow on their political agenda, neither did the youngest congressman in America.
