Members of Congress sent numerous complaints and letters to USAID, demanding answers on where all the money was going under Joe Biden. Well, thanks to people like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Billionaire Elon Musk, and the President of the United States of America, that money is coming home.
The Chairman of USAID Samanatha Powers received multiple inquiries during her term as administrator of the organization. Letters that expressed concern on funding, association with terrorist groups and gross negligence. Numerous questions were raised on how USAID operates. USAID was warned that the organizations receiving free tax dollars may not be legitimate groups or may not be who they claimed to be. Still after several politicians raised concerns of USAID and their funding practices, nothing was done under the Biden administration. USAID was a key player in keeping the money flowing to NGO’s and other groups that moved people into America, illegally during Biden’s term.
The funding was always available, because a crook was signing off on all the checks to USAID. Convicted New Jersey Politician Senator Bob Menendez chaired the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations from 2013 to 2015 and from 2021 to 2023. The Senate Committee that controls and oversees foreign-policy legislation. The committee is generally responsible for authorizing and overseeing foreign aid programs, like USAID funding. Joe Biden put a crook in control of the funding, and did we expect anything else from Senator Menedez and his wife. The committee also manages arms sales and training for national allies and holds confirmation hearings for high-level positions in the Department of State. Its sister committee in the House of Representatives is the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

From 2021 to 2023, the Foreign Relations Committee was chaired by Democratic Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, until he stepped down as chair after facing federal corruption charges. Bob Menendez was sentenced Wednesday to 11 years in prison following his conviction on bribery and corruption charges after taking cash, a Mercedes Benz and gold bars as bribes in exchange for helping three businessmen and the Egyptian government.
Joe Biden was the longest serving politician when he became president in 2021. Joe Biden started in politics in 1973, Bob Menendez started in politics in 1974. They have been public servants for so long that they feel intitled to take a little off the top, as well as some from the middle and all of the bottom line. How could we trust crooked politicians from New Jersey and Delaware to run the funding for USAID?
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) named Meeks as one of the most corrupt members of Congress back in 2011. It was subsequently reported that his continuing ethical and criminal probes could cause his premature exit from Congress, but Meeks has denied this. These claims against Meeks say he purchased a home for over $150,000 less than it was worth. The claims say he also met with former Venezuelan president Hugo Chávez on behalf of a donor and failed to disclose a private loan on congressional financial statements.

There are two committees in the US government that allocate funding for USAID and all their programs. The committees go line by line and check where all the money is going. The other chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs was another Biden and Obama lap dog just like Menendez. Rep. Gregory Weldon Meeks (D-NY) chaired the House Committee on Foreign Affairs from 2021 to 2023. He still sits on the committee as a ranking member. Meeks voted with President Joe Biden’s stated position 100% of the time in the 117th Congress.
The New York Times also reported that Meeks utilizes the option to use tax dollars to lease a car for use as a member of Congress. This option does not exist for Senate members. The lease is forged by many members of Congress, but Meeks has held the most-expensive lease among all members. He has used tax dollars to lease a Lexus for $998 per month. Meeks was unwilling to provide further comment when questioned by the New York Times about the lease arrangement, saying, “these are never lighthearted stories.” It is a joke to the man spending all of our tax dollars overseas through USAID.
Rep. Meeks was against the Isreal invasion of Gaza. In 2105, Meeks participated with fellow Democrats in a boycott of a speech delivered by Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Congress. In 2017, Rep. Meeks (D-NY), Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), and Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH) fired technology staffers linked to an ongoing criminal investigation. The five staff members still continued to work for three months after they were barred from House computer networks. Politico said one staffer was still working as a technology adviser for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), although he has been blocked from accessing the House computer systems. All five staff members were relatives and are all linked to the ongoing criminal investigation being conducted by the U.S. Capitol Police. They got paid over one million dollars a year to “handle” the IT networks for all three Democrat House members.
The former House staff members are accused of stealing equipment from members’ offices, committing serious, potentially illegal, violations on the House IT network, and leaking US intelligence and financial records. Which makes the politicians that worked with these staff members and kept them on the payroll either clueless or criminals themselves. Rep. Meeks said he was hesitant to believe the accusations against the five staffers, saying their background as Muslim Americans, some with ties to Pakistan, could make them easy targets for false charges. Rep. Fudge told Politico she would employ the one staff member until he received “due process.” Rep. Fudge would still collaborate with a criminal in the Capitol building. Rep. Fudge said, “he needs to have a hearing. The due process is very simple. You do not fire someone until you talk to them,” Rep. Fudge said. The next day Politico confirmed with Lauren Williams, a spokeswoman for Rep. Fudge, that the alleged criminal staff member was still employed in Fudge’s office. With access to sensitive materials.
According to spokesman David Damron, the one staffer is working in an “advisory” role for Wasserman Schultz, “providing advice on technology issues.” Wasserman Schultz was forced to resign as Democratic National Committee chairwoman in 2016 after a trove of embarrassing emails were released by WikiLeaks. In addition, Meeks and Wasserman Schultz are said to have a friendly personal relationship with two of the staffers, according to multiple sources.
The elimination of USAID will not only stop international fraud and waste with our US tax dollars, hopefully it will stop US politicians from breaking their oath of office. When the two people in charge of funding the corrupt agency USAID are just as corrupt there must be more corruption somewhere else, likely higher up.
Bob Menendez was convicted last year of 16 felony counts for the long-running corruption scheme, making him the first US senator charged and convicted of acting as an agent of a foreign government. US prosecutors alleged that Menendez even pressured the US Department of Agriculture to benefit one of the businessmen with a certificate to control the halal meat industry. He also pushed through military and financial aid to Egypt.
Egypt receives the bulk of foreign aid from two primary accounts which is appropriated and authorized by Congress. These numbers come from the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, and they show how much money USAID has given Egypt. Egypt received $237.86 million worth of USAID in 2023, and USAID has given Egypt over $30 billion for programs in education, economic development, democracy, and governance since 1978. The agency also provided $19.3 million to help Egypt mitigate the economic and health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Did your city or town get $19.3 million from USAID during COVID to help your neighbors survive? Egypt ranks third in the region, after Israel and Jordan, in terms of assistance funds requested from USAID in 2024.
The USAID agency was used by the Democrats for corruption, greed, and fraud. They were literally buying votes with your tax dollars. Here are a list of letters concerning the waste of American tax dollars through USAID and the Democrat party. Letter after letter and nothing is done.

List of letters concerning corruption and fraud in USAID:
On July 14, 2012, in Washington DC, U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee gave the opening remarks at the Committee hearing to review the 2022 budget request for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Testifying before the Committee was USAID Administrator Samantha Power.
January 1, 2023, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul sent a letter to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Power expressing his concern over USAID’s gross negligence in failing to investigate credible allegations a nonprofit receiving a $110,000 grant is associated with designated terrorist organizations more than eight months after committee staff raised the issue. USAID took no action to investigate the grant to Helping Hand for Relief and Development (HHRD) even after being provided with detailed information on the allegations.
Chairman McCaul called on USAID Administrator Samantha Power to immediately suspend the award to HHRD pending a full and thorough review of this grant, to include coordination with the intelligence community, federal law enforcement, the State Department Counterterrorism Bureau, and the Department of Homeland Security.
May 14, 2024, Letter to the Treasury Secretary demanding information about any “suspicious activity reports” related to 20 nonprofits and funders that are reported to be “organizing, leading, and participating in pro-Hamas, antisemitic, anti-Israel, and anti-American protests with illegal encampments on American college campuses. The 20 groups listed are Students for Justice in Palestine, Jewish Voice for Peace, Within Our Lifetime, American Muslims for Palestine, IfNotNow, Open Society Foundations, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Tides Foundation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Solidaire Action, Libra Foundation, Westchester Peace Action Committee Foundation, Muslim Community Network, Council on American-Islamic Relations, Center for Popular Democracy, Peace Action New York State, People’s Forum, Samidoun, Adalah Justice Project, and Palestine Legal.
September 24, 2024, Letters to the IRS Commissioner from Chairman Jason Smith asking the Commissioner to investigate and revoke the tax-exempt status for Americans for Justice in Palestine Educational Foundation, American Muslims for Palestine, Alliance for Global Justice, Islamic Relief, Jewish Voices for Peace, the People’s Forum, the Tides Foundation, United Hands Relief, and Westchester Peace Action Committee Foundation. To justify this request, the letters point to several provisions of the law, including that acts of civil disobedience to do not qualify for tax exemption, that violations of the law that are an “antithesis of the public good” may bar tax exemption, and that organizations that are designated as terrorist organizations cannot maintain tax-exempt status.
July 22, 2024, Letter to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce asking, “why is the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Foundation accepting funds from the Tides Foundation, an organization that seems to sponsor and partner with openly anti-business organizations”; what funds from Tides Foundation have been used for; if they share the vision of the Tides foundation; and “what exactly are taxpayers getting in return for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s tax-exempt status.”
May 9, 2024, Letter from 16 U.S. Senators to the IRS Commissioner demanding that they “open an investigation to determine if the supporters of the National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP, including the AJP Educational Foundation (AJP), the Tides Foundations, the Westchester Peace Action Committee Foundation (WESPAC Foundation), and other benefactors of NSJP have engaged in conduct warranting revocation of their tax-exempt statuses on the basis of their financial support of NSJP.” These Senators cite a May 1, 2024, lawsuit filed against AJP and NSJP in the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Virginia to claim that AJP serves as Hamas’s propaganda division in the United States and that both organizations responded to Hamas’s “call for mass mobilization” after the attack by “disseminating a manifesto and plan of attack.”
Thank You Donald Trump for doing your job.
