Three Reasons why Trump should not fight this battle. Why fix something that is not broken!
We at magapatriotforlife.com are MAGA first, but this battle is not good for the Republican party. This is not the time for Republicans to fight within our own party. The Democrat party is deflating their own lifeboat, and the sharks are circling. The Trump MAGA movement is strong in Florida. Because of great leadership from Gov. DeSantis. This is not the battle worth fighting for the Trump Team. This comes from a website called magapatriotforlife.com, who is thinking about his party before himself. The Republican party has so many other seats they could be fighting over, this seat is taken. By a DeSantis!
The latest polls show that Floridians choose the governor’s wife Casey DeSantis over US Rep. Byron Donalds. Donalds has the support and backing of President Trump. Donald Trump has had a love hate relationship with the Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis. After months of name calling during the 2024 presidential elections. DeSantis chose to step back and continue being maybe the best governor Florida has ever seen. If Byron Donalds is elected. It will only create an empty seat in the house. Leaving it open to people like former US House member Florida’s Matt Gaetz. And then the sharks will smell the blood in the GOP waters.
Point 1: Florida is a lock, why MAGA should move to another fight!
Trump won Florida in 2024, still that does not mean that Florida voters are not Team DeSantis. Even with the backing of the Trump train and MAGA supporters nationwide. Florida is a peninsula, that is nothing like the rest of the United States of America. The three sides of the state share three different politic views. Trump can use his magic wand and get a candidate in New York or Pennsylvania over the finish line. In Florida the only thing redder than our necks from the sun is our politics.
Florida like most states only have pockets of Democrat power. There are only small areas of Democrat control in Florida. The state in whole is a Republican stronghold. The people in Florida voted for no crime, low taxes and Florida first. The people of Florida have a mentality all their own. Florida is a state that people move to because they want to get away.
The main reason that people are moving to Florida, especially in the last six years since before COVID. It is the politics and policies of Ron DeSantis. The governor of Florida has proven time and time again that he stands for all Floridians. He has been attacked for everything and anything. Not because DeSantis actually does something criminal worthy or impeachable. The left and the overwhelmingly left media in Florida attack Ron DeSantis. They do this because they know how well he is loved by the Florida voters. The Democrat party of Florida does not have anyone likable. No one in the party is on DeSantis’s level as a leader.
That is why Floridians trust and chose Casey DeSantis for governor. Because the voters know what to expect. Team DeSantis will continue to bring the same hard work, honesty and family values that the voters cherish. Floridians have been through a lot since DeSantis took the helm. They are not ready to change a good thing and have no complaints. Floridians would enjoy peace and quiet for another 8 years from their politicians.
Point 2: DeSantis stands by the sides of those in need, especially his wife!
People of Florida have lived through a lot since Ron DeSantis took office as governor. Since DeSantis has been governor, Florida has faced five major hurricanes in six seasons. One being a category 5 hurricane. Every time DeSantis showed leadership and worked hard for the people of Florida. Every Florida resident received the same treatment, no matter who they voted for. Before every storm, the governor had the electrical trucks in place to react after the storm hits. The Emergency Response Teams lined up on I-4 waiting to move into action and save lives. Floridians will not forget those tough times.
Governor DeSantis has faced multiple challenges since taken office. From not backing down to Walt Disney World and protecting the children of Florida. To the attacks against him on running Florida during COVID-19. Governor Ron DeSantis has fought back against the biggest corporation in the world. He has also faced name calling from the President of the United States of America. Ron DeSantis faced criticism for attacking Disney. He taught them to keep their nose out of his politics. After years of bashing Gov. DeSantis, Disney has lost the fight. All this while helping his wife Casey recover from cancer.
Another Battle Floridians have shared with their governor. DeSantis first addressed the public about his wife’s diagnosis and detailed her cancer timeline in December of 2021. Florida’s First Lady Casey DeSantis went through cancer treatment and recovery as a mother of three with Florida watching. Ron stood by her side at every chemo treatment while running Florida. The DeSantis family has been a part of Florida and the changes it has faced during COVID to every major disaster. What Gov. DeSantis has proven to the people of Florida, is that he has got their backs. DeSantis has stood up to every attack that has come his way. Nothing has tarnished his political career, and every controversial decision has ended positively.
Gov. DeSantis has faced political rants and name calling during the campaign. He was the front runner for the GOP presidential nominee. Then DeSantis stepped down for the good of the party so Trump can serve his second term. Ron DeSantis has done what is right for his party, his state and his family. He stayed in Florida as a governor and raised the bar on what a great state is destined to become. DeSantis never backed down from a fight for the people of Florida. The people of Florida will fight for Casey DeSantis in 2026! A fight MAGA should avoid for the sake of the party!
Point 3: What MAGA and the GOP are not seeing!
Why would the Republican party stir up the waves in a state that is clearly a win for the GOP. Because the GOP, MAGA and Team DeSantis do not see the attack coming in the shallows. Florida is home to many sharks and dangerous sea creatures. Yet, the creature no one is looking out for is lurking. Byron Donalds is only the chum that will be devoured first, if the Republican’s keep fighting over Florida.
There is someone new to Florida politics swimming in the deep end already. He is not a Democrat or a Republican, maybe worse, he is a lawyer. While MAGA tries to muscle in Byron Donalds as the next governor of Florida. The candidate Casey DeSantis should be worried about is Lawyer John Morgan. John Morgan was the biggest financial donor in Florida for the Democrat party over the past 20 years. He is no longer supporting the left, and is funding another campaign, his own.
Florida trial lawyer and Democratic mega-fundraiser John Morgan announced he’s launching his own political party. After repeatedly teasing that he might run for governor in the state. Morgan has said in the past he would consider running for state office as an independent, before changing course to launch his own party and dub it the “Capitalist Party.”
The face of the biggest law firm on the planet is putting a candidate on the ticket in Florida. After years of supporting Democrats, John Morgan knows he can run a better campaign than Kamala Harris did. John Morgan was a Clinton Democrat and has contributed to every Democrat cause in the sunshine state for decades. He has a strong following of attorneys, clients and employees that have supported him. In the 2024 elections in Florida, John Morgan known as “Pot Daddy”, championed, funded, debated and almost successfully got Amendment Three passed. The Amendment would legalize adult-use marijuana, and John Morgan has been one of the main policy drivers on that issue here in Florida.
For the Amendment to pass it would need 60% of the voters to pass the measure. In November only 58% of Floridians voted “Yes” to legalize marijuana. Gov. Ron DeSantis would have vetoed the measure, and another political battle would have ensued. John Morgan has called out DeSantis over vetoing the measure. Morgan said, “Ron DeSantis is still young, he is smart. Harvard and Yale educated and must know that marijuana is a big issue going forward and a popular one even among those in his own party. With President Joe Biden’s recent move to reschedule marijuana, he certainly has to know he is being outflanked here.”
Outflanked indeed. DeSantis is a military vet, and being outflanked is not how he was trained. John Morgan has a better chance of being nominated as governor of Florida before Byron Donalds does. The Florida voters that overwhelming picked DeSantis will be swayed if John Morgan the lawyer runs on decriminalizing drug crimes and legalizing marijuana. Byron Donalds would only be separating or dividing up the Republican non pot smoking vote. And Team DeSantis would be outflanked by their own party.
Democrats in Florida will be asked again at the ballots to decide what kind of Florida did they move to. The one that reminds them of their old homes up North, or the one they left that life behind for. The Republicans will be facing a Democrat challenger that will be campaigning on open borders and no more deportations. One of Gov. DeSantis’s main goals before leaving the governor’s office. Now Team DeSantis will have to face a billionaire lawyer that has made billions for his clients in Florida. Plus, he is running a lead on a proven 58% legalized marijuana voter base.
To make things harder for the Republicans in Florida and the Team DeSantis. Their base and own political party is putting up a less inferior candidate of the same party to compete against. So not only will the Democrats and the new Morgan party will be in the media trash talking Team DeSantis. You will now have Byron Donalds stepping away from his seat and separating the Republican party and vote.
As a Republican I am confused, why ruin a good thing. Why compete against a win for the whole party and go against Team DeSantis? Why give any leverage to a floundering Democrat party with no candidate. Either Casey DeSantis does not want to run, and Team Trump know this and wants to fill the void before someone else does. Or the MAGA team is not reading the room correctly. John Morgan is starting a new free thinking, legalizing party. It poses a substantial risk to the Florida Republican party. The Democrats in Florida have drifted to the open border policies and only helping their certain voter demographics.
The Democrat party of Florida is the extreme left of the party that so many Americans have walked away from. The far left is the only Democrat party base in Florida left. That party has no chance of winning in 2026 in Florida. The shinning stars of the Democrat party of Florida, just destroyed their chances while traveling to El Salvador. Team DeSantis does not have to worry about the left candidate or Byron Donalds. The main competition for Team DeSantis will be John Morgan come 2026.
Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) has flip flopped in recent months that most Americans have overlooked. Not us at magapatriotforlife.com, we see it all. Byron Donalds was against DOGE when REP. Marjorie Taylor Greene tried to pass it in June of 2024. He was against defunding USAID when Rep. Greene needed his vote in 2024. Come 2025, Trump dodges a bullet, becomes president and now all of sudden Donalds supports a DOGE initiative. In 2024 he was against it; in 2025 he is for it. That speaks for itself, Rep. Greene needed support and fellow Republicans said No.
We have to think what is the best scenario for the Republican MAGA party going forward. There is no time to waste, the Trump administration has four years to fix decades of neglect from both sides. The best option to keep a strong hold on all the political seats that the Republicans hold. It is to allow Casey DeSantis to run for office as governor of Florida. A mother of three and a cancer survivor that will continue the Team DeSantis legacy in Florida. Casey will be fighting back a billionaire who wants to legalize pot. Seems like a no brainer for families across Florida. Trump and the MAGA candidate will step back and support Casey DeSantis and fight against what John Morgan is offering. Team DeSantis has made a career in Florida protecting the rights and innocence of children. Defeating the Pot Daddy might be too easy for Team DeSantis in 2026.
Moving forward in 2028, Ron DeSantis runs for president and his running mate will be Byron Donalds. Donalds will get the nod because he did what was right for the party in 2026 during the governor’s race. Donalds will be rewarded for putting the party before self. Casey DeSantis will have to step down. She can’t be the first female governor of Florida and the first lady of America. She will hand the reins over to Laura Trump, another mother and family first candidate. Laura Trump will be rewarded because her father-in-law stopped attacking the best governor in the country and decided to focus on attacking the real enemy. The United States Democrat party of China.
